January 30, 2018

Hello Hillside. An exciting week ahead after a superb talent show on Friday. A special thanks to Kevin March for organizing this year’s show and a shout out to every student who showed off their talent. You make us all proud.

LEARN ABOUT OUR NEW SCIENCE PROGRAM - THIS WEDNESDAY JAN 31 6:30 - 8 PM

Hillside is working hard to create the next generation of scientists -- from replacing textbooks with hands-on experimentation, to teaching kids about new developments and careers in science and technology. Come learn about the new science program called FOSS with a hands - on experiment. You’ll also learn about the reimagined ‘Science Day’ and what you can do to give your kids a turbocharged boost into scientific learning. Program will take place 6:30 to 8 pm on Jan. 31 in the Hillside cafeteria. Complimentary childcare with activities will be provided. Please sign up here if you are bringing your students so there is adequate staff available.

HILLSIDE BOX TOP COLLECTION UNDERWAY!

Send in your Box Top coupons in a zip-lock bag or envelope labeled with the classroom number and teacher’s name by the end of February to be eligible for a prize. Remember, every coupon sent in is worth 10 cents to Hillside so start clipping. Last year we earned more than $1000! Watch next week's blast to see which classroom is in the lead.
