PANERA BREAD FUNDRAISER – WEDNESDAY, NOV. 29

Donate to the PTA by eating at Panera Bread on Nov. 29 from 4-8 pm, 15 Bloomfield Avenue. Just bring a copy of this flyer or show an electronic version. Thanks Panera!

SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT WITH SPIRIT WEAR – ONLINE ORDERING AVAILABLE NOW!

Spirit Wear is now available online! There are new items, such as metal water bottles and cotton PJs, adult tees and hoodies, and full sizes for the most popular items. Order here to pay via paypal before Nov. 30th to guarantee pickup in time for the December holidays. Items will be available for pick up at Hillside during holiday pop ups.

WINTER CONCERT THURSDAY NIGHT – THURSDAY NIGHT NOV. 30

Come see the Hillside Philharmonic, Traveling Troupe, Chorus and Drums of Thunder. Show goes on at 6:30 p.m. A peek behind the curtain: you may hear something from Harry Potter and Seussical. And we hear there is a special art display from Ms. Noval’s class.

MAKE-A-WISH GIFT GIVING DRIVE STARTS FRIDAY DEC. 1

Our annual "Make-A-Wish Come True" giving program starts Dec. 1. If you are shopping this week, we are looking for donations of winter coats and gloves for kids' sizes 8-14. We will post the lists of desired toys shortly, but art supply sets, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" or "Wonder" book sets are always welcomed. Check out the list at Make a Wish Come True 2017

LET’S GET DIGITAL: FIRST FAMILY CODING NIGHT COMING MONDAY DEC. 11

Calling all Nishuane and Hillside Families! Hillside is hosting its first Family Code Night in collaboration with The Montclair High School Robotics Team. Begin learning coding with your kids by attending this fun and free event where you’ll solve coding puzzles with your families. No coding experience is necessary - just bring a laptop. Loaner laptops will be available upon request only. RSVP is required for this event so please sign uphere.

KNIT HATS FOR MAKE A WISH – DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY DEC. 15

The deadline to make hats for Hillside and Nishuane Holiday Giving has been extended to December 15th. We have about 50 hats so far and the aim is 120 so get knitting! For more information and sign up here.

SAVE THE DATE – HILLSIDE FEBRUARY FUNDRAISER FEB. 24

We're thrilled to announce a brand new event to warm up the cold in February! The first ever Hillside Move-a-Thon is February 24th! Families will get a chance to experience all kinds of physical activities while raising money for their school. From parkour to tae kwan do to zumba and yoga, we will partner with experts to get us moving. And did we mention a winter glow dance party? Committee is forming now and the first meeting will be 9:30 am on Dec. 1. Please sign up here to help with planning.
