MATH BEHIND THE SCENES
The students will practice basic math skills through a variety of activities. Students are pre-assigned to this course.
SOAR TO SUCCESS
Are you interested in reading about sports, comedy, mystery, music and other interesting topics? Then this is the course for you! You will be able to watch and listen to video and audiotapes, read and review newspaper editorials, comic strips and novels, and play games. In this course you will participate in small groups to acquire basic reading skills, strengthen phonetic and decoding skills as well as word analysis strategies. The goal of the course is to elevate your reading abilities and get you excited about reading.
