Please join us for the first ever Hillside parent and staff Cornhole/Kickball Classic on Sunday, October 6th from 3:30-6:00! Let's come together as a school community to get to know each other better and have some laughs along the way. You do not need to play cornhole or kickball to join the fun! Kids are absolutely welcome and student volunteers from Glenfield will be on hand to monitor the playground.

The event will take place at the Wally Choice Community Center/Glenfield Park. (Wally Choice is BYO and beer and wine are permitted.) We're thinking a finger food potluck so grab your picnic blanket, lawn chairs, and cornhole boards. (Please bring corn hole boards if you have or email Deirdre.birmingham@gmail.com if we can borrow for the afternoon.)

As you ready your family’s cold-weather wardrobe, please consider donating to Hillside’s collection for the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. Drop your CLEAN and GENTLY-USED infant, kids and adult WINTER coats in designated school collection bins October 15 - November 22. Questions, or if you need to donate sooner, please contact Trente Miller trentem@icloud.com.

**Special shout-out to our 3rd grade families: We need a couple volunteers to help + learn so you can co-manage this effort next year. Contact Trente if you have a few hours to help!

It’s that time of year again to get your Hillside swag on! Hillside Spirit Wear can be purchased anytime, anywhere at our online store: www.hillsideeagles.com and this week Oct 1-13th is FREE SHIPPING WEEK. All products will be shipped directly to the school the first week of November.

Hellooooo Hillside Families!
Start with Hello Week has officially ended but let's not lose the bonds we've started to make. We had such a great time getting to know each other better through all of our activities this week. Let’s be sure to stay connected throughout the rest of the year...we can do it with a simple hello. 😊
