A Note from the Principal’s Desk - 3.26.2021

Dear Hillside Community,

We wish you a Happy Passover, the festival of freedom. Passover 2021 begins at sundown on March 27 and ends Sunday evening, April 4. The first Passover Seder is on the evening of March 27, and the second Passover Seder takes place on the evening of March 28.

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo...Round of applause to our Play Production 2 students and teachers!

Ladies and gentleman, the time has come to raise the curtain on Hillside School’s production of Hopes and Dreams: A Hillside Broadway Revue. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful Play Production students who worked so very hard to bring their characters to life, to our fantastic Stage Management students for creating the slide show ‘scenery’ with those beautiful digital backgrounds and virtual picture props, and to the parents who helped out, whether by providing the students with beautiful costume pieces, or helping the students to learn their lines and lyrics.

On behalf of Mrs. Smeriglio, Mr. Park, and Mr. Poff, we could not have done this without the support of each and every one of you. Now, without further adieu, sit back, relax, and enjoy Hillside School’s 2021 virtual production of Hopes and Dreams: A Hillside Broadway Revue.

A Message from Ms. Scott

“Hillside Hangouts”

Does your child need a fun lunch break with friends? Ms. Scott is hosting a "Hillside Hangout" Zoom session that is JUST for socialization and fun. The hangout is a brief, open group time for children who want to pop in and chit chat with others. Since the whole purpose is to socialize, Ms. Scott is asking that everyone have their camera on. The next Hillside Hangout will be on Wednesday 3/31. Ms. Scott has scheduled the available slots during the “off screen” blocks. Joining is completely OPTIONAL, just pop in the zoom to hangout with friends!
