Greetings 3rd Grade Families,
We’re excited to share that the 3rd Grade Aesthetic Course selection is now officially open for registration! Your child is about to embark on an exciting journey of creativity and exploration, with a fantastic selection of electives designed to inspire and engage their passions.
Each day, students will participate in two elective classes, including related arts such as physical education, music, art, and technology. These electives can be Aesthetics, which are open to all students, or Creative “I” (CI) classes, which offer advanced instruction in a particular subject. Our CI academic courses will begin in trimester 2. All CI classes require pre‐screening.
Throughout the school year, each student must include the following in their elective schedule:
- One physical education class per cycle (choose from traditional PE, dance, or gymnastics)
One cycle of visual or performing arts (options include art, music, chorus, instrumental instruction, or drama, including stage production)
One cycle of technology
One cycle of World Language

Important Dates:

October 14: CI parent letters sent to 3rd grade families (with CI Related Arts eligibility status only). CI Academics (ELA/MATH) will begin in the 2nd trimester.

October 15: 3rd grade registration opens for all trimester aesthetic classes. Our focus will be completing trimester I schedules.

October 21: Registration for 3rd grade will close at 9:00 AM.

October 23: - 3rd Graders begin Cycle 1 aesthetics classes.
